šŸ“” Football Hall Of Fame Looted (Riots around the country.)

This whole thing further solidifies my believe in the 2nd Amendment.

In its entirety it's disgusting, from the murder of Mr George, the actions and initial inactions by the police department, the protests, and the riots.

Read that Chicago spent $210 million on overtime between police and fire departments in 2019. 62% of this was by the police department.
I’m a big proponent of the 2nd amendment and believe everybody should carry as long as they know how to use it, take classes, and aren’t an ignorant bastard.

Maybe they just decided regardless of how many cops get hurt, buildings burn, etc they’re saving money so no OT. Their OT last year is because they have to mandate OT shifts because they’re so short staffed

I meant nothing personal towards you earlier and apologize, BUT that statement proves my point to an extent. The mindset that rights are to be meted out on an arbitrary whim is wrong.

I’ve seen many on here very vocal about the act of the photo on the left. And I mean very vocal. (Boycott, eff the NFL, eff Nike....etc). But some of those same individuals seem to be censored about the act of the photo on the right. And that’s interesting to me.

I’m sick of it all! I said my peace about the picture on the left and I posted about the picture on the right on my Facebook account, but until now, have said nothing here. What occurred on the right was straight up murder, nothing less! Putting a knee in a persons back is one thing, to put it on someone’s neck and putting your weight on them to the point they lose bodily functions and their windpipe more or less collapses is brutality!!! You would think that 60 years after the civil rights movement, that people would be better than this. I guess we give everyone too much credit. Racism is a taught behavior!!😢

People that don’t have a clue how to use a weapon shouldn’t own one. I’m not saying take away their right I’m just saying they should know how to use it.

I’m sorry if I came across as a douche, I really ain’t one

That’s wrong plain and simple. We take an oath. The whole ā€œserve and protectā€ isn’t just words on a vehicle. The police ā€œwalking awayā€ there’s only so many god damn places we can be.

I’m sorry if I’m coming across as a dick, but I just spent the last 13 hours ā€œserving and protectingā€ while taking a brick to the head and being told how racist I am and how my family needs to die while not protecting people

Sorry if it offends you but the Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that the police have no legal obligation to protect anyone. I am not speaking about what individual cops may do, but that doesn't change the legal facts. Otherwise, were there a legal obligation, you would be required to be everywhere at once and face legal prosecution any time someone was not protected properly. I understand why the legal ruling exists, and understand that it means every person is responsible for protecting themselves first and foremost. This argument is way more important in places where gun control is strict and keep people from protecting themselves (which coincidentally also seem to be the types of places that have the worst rioting with cops allowing it).

And lets just add a footnote.....
How can 3 other officers stand by and do nothing.....be totally oblivious to thegoing on.... where is the decently to tell the officer...."hey, man, that’s enough "
......i am struggling with ones action...and 3s inaction......

This shit makes me sick..... its not the country...or the police....somebody should have recognized that these officers have a problem...... and they do.... not the police...but these officers individually.... it should have been recognized...and dealt with...as i am sure police forces through out the country do deal with that mentality.....

The protesters are ok...the rioters are thugs....

The insanity has touched Birmingham overnight. Even funnymain got in the action getting a crowd worked up over a confederate monument. It short order the ā€œangerā€ will be directed towards white people in general.

I was/still am very angry that a police officer could commit murder on the streets of Minneapolis AND 3 other policemen stood by and did nothing!!! The black community had the full support of just about every American demanding justice and the arrest of those involved. I have no issue with protests. Walk, carry signs, chant, sing, etc... that's fine. This is no longer about an African American that was murdered and caught on video, this is about trashing businesses and violence. All of us need to stand together and band together to make life better for our kids and grandkids. I grew up in the civil right south of the 60's and it is playing out before me once again. Racism is TAUGHT! God help us all to be better people to each other. Red, and yellow, black and white, he is precious in His sight! I pray that I can make a difference with my brothers and sister of color. Help me to listen and help me act in a way that is not racist in any form.

But why did he bring this up now? Also why hasn't the other policeman been arrest on this?

At some point the National Guard/Military will have to be called in to stop this. Two wrongs don't make a right. Both situations are criminal. If you are going to act like a criminal do not be surprised if you are treated like one.

We have lost or moral compass.

Let's hope this does not happen. This puts the military in a bad spot. They are severely limited in what they can do without a declaration of martial law. No way in hell do you want that!

If people continue to break the law what options do you have? I do not want any of this be happening including the death of Mr Floyd but you can't continue to let the law be broken.
