More and more evidence outside agitators are starting the worst of it. But who to believe as to who they are. Democrats say they are all white supremacists. Republicans say they are Antifa and related. Maybe both? I lean Antifa because this has been their schtick for a while but who knows.

The problem these days is no one really knows what is true. Everyone has an agenda and puts their own spin on everything. The integrity of the current news agencies is very questionable. I would like to see a news agency formed with the intent of doing actual investigative reporting w/o opinion and find out the truth. One can dream....

I have a subscription to the Wall Street Journal. While they DO seem to be conservative, like me, they DON'T tell me what I want to hear, or defend Trump if he's wrong, unlike Fox News. MSNBC, CNN, and even the regular ABC/CBS/NBC networks are so far left I can't trust them.

The police walking away and letting criminals do what they want is the best argument for the 2nd Amendment I have ever seen. People continue to believe the police are there to protect you. They are not. They have absolutely zero legal requirement to protect anyone. Per the Supreme Court has ruled that they have no responsibility to protect even those with protective orders and their only job is to investigate crimes and arrest criminals. The businesses that survived in Minneapolis were ones that had armed civilians guarding them.

That’s wrong plain and simple. We take an oath. The whole “serve and protect” isn’t just words on a vehicle. The police “walking away” there’s only so many god damn places we can be.

I’m sorry if I’m coming across as a dick, but I just spent the last 13 hours “serving and protecting” while taking a brick to the head and being told how racist I am and how my family needs to die while not protecting people

99% of the rioters are white, but they’re not white supremacists because if that was the case my brother pale, white, Irish ass wouldn’t have got plowed by a brick.

Read that Chicago spent $210 million on overtime between police and fire departments in 2019. 62% of this was by the police department.

I've literally seen footage of guys wearing those earpieces for communication like you see in movies/TV. These guys, dressed in all black with back packs, have been seen before. How are they not ANTIFA?

I’ve seen many on here very vocal about the act of the photo on the left. And I mean very vocal. (Boycott, eff the NFL, eff Nike....etc). But some of those same individuals seem to be censored about the act of the photo on the right. And that’s interesting to me.

Yes a system to “protect us” you bet. Militarized police using tactics to invoke fear....yes that’s exactly what’s going on. I can’t speak for any dept other than mine, but we’re not taught tactics for fear rather than respect. I myself have 213 hrs of just deescalation training....that spells fear

As a cop I will tell you the photo on the right is disgusting, wrong, etc, but even more so it’s damn murder. When I first saw it I had anger go through me like I’ve never felt. I promise you that 99% of the people that share my profession feel that same way.

As for the photo on the left whether I agree or disagree with it is irrelevant because many many many people have sacrificed in faraway lands to defend our right to protest.
