Don't know if I agree with him getting rid of the Defensive coordinator. Their defense hasn't usually been the problem this season. And the way they played all last season, this is a head scratcher to me. Wonder who he'll try to get?

I wonder if this is an altruistic move, giving his assistants time to look for other jobs, knowing they're out at the end of the year. I wonder if any of their contracts provide them with more money based on the timing of the terminations. If that is the case, it could buy him some goodwill. Otherwise, he'll be a special assistant or coordinator for someone else pretty soon.

There won’t be any hiring until after the season, if he’s still there. If I’m a potential candidate I would look twice before joining FSU due to the short term potential.

I expect that he will remain - not sure FSU can stomach the buyout. Didn’t that give him a raise & extension when they thought we were looking at him last year?

Eighty-five percent of his remaining contract ... roughly sixty million this season.

Would be a hard choice between the two.

On one hand you’d have a Coach who will whore himself to any product for cash.

And the other will whore himself to the student body for self gratification if left unattended.

Both would win there though. IMO
