🏈 Florida by 5 1/2

So they basically saying we gonna lose by a td?

Keep in mind that a line is an assesment of those who bet, not those who play.

After FLA blew out FSU, and after Bama edged out Auburn, how would you think those who don't do their homework or those that bet with their hearts instead of their heads would lean? This one week impacts the line, yet does not impact the play.

Agreed.

However, EARLY lines produced prior to the Iron Bowl and FSU/UF had Florida around a 4.5 favorite.

Florida has ALWAYS been the favorite in this contest...even weeks ago.

okay...........so far all I see that Florida has is Tebow and a weak schedule. If they win, it wont be trick plays and chicken runs.......It will be straight up test of strength and power football, just the way it should be.Advantage? Us. Roll Tide Roll............

The season is all but over, limiting the number of games at which die-hard gamblers can throw their money. In a normal week, west coast and mid west gamblers might throw money at USC/UCLA or Ohio State/Michigan because this is what they know because this is where their heart is.

Come Saturday, these Betters will be wagering on a game that only know what CBS/ESPN have told them...and what do you think that is?:lance:

Florida is the pretty option to a nation of wagers. "Michigan Mike" and "California Carl" are not going to do the indepth research needed to know who will win the game.

The line is moving as you said, and yet we still do not know the status of Alabama's Heisman Trophy front-runner running back for the game. That means that there is a lot of "stupid money" in play. A healthy Ingram vs. an Ingram who does not play will impact the winner, yet we just don't know yet what team Bama will field.

Florida is certainly the "sexy pick" and of course we all know what CBS and ESPN have told the world!

"The earth doesn't rotate on its own...Tebow spins it on his finger."

Sexy pick or not, UF is #1 and I don't see how they shouldn't be favored to win.
