🏈 🔥 Hot Seat 2025 / Coaching Carousel:

Or both. I was telling y'all not to believe any rumors this week. 😂😂😂

@Brandon Van de Graaff I deserve a handshake

Always makes me laugh... the coaches do this stuff, but they better win. If Moore beats Ohio State again this year and had UM in the playoffs, this ends up being settled other ways...
Things I know I've said once, but also know I've said a 1000X over the years.

If a man can't manage his own house, he can't manage. If a man can honor his marriage, you can't expect him to honor anything else. If a man isn't trustworthy at home, he's not trustworthy.

Strangely, or ironically, enough...another Biblical principle.

This is the cynic in me, I suppose. Or perhaps it's "been there, seen that."

Think back about a month and a half ago; give a week or two. We had the "bigger" names in the collegiate media saying "there was going to be a big shakeup in the carousel" that would shock a lot.

Are they sighing in relief that a story finally broke where they can say, "this is what I meant?"

I've held the opinion UM would look for a way to shed Marrone since his involvement in the sign stealing scandal. However, I have a hard time believing that some in the media knew weeks ahead of he was getting fired for a sex scandal. It's too juicy of a headline to sit back and wait.

Disclosure, this is from a coworker (and Michigan alum), and not from any insider or media. He just told me the affair was common knowledge and wasn’t new. Said, allegedly, the lady got pregnant. Apparently, then forced her to have an abortion. When news was about to hit today, he caught wind of a team meeting where he wasn’t invited and realized it was hitting the fan. He, again, allegedly, went to the lady’s house and lost his temper and threatened her but bolted before the cops arrived. Cops caught up with him shortly after.

My coworker seems to believe these events, but I don’t know if factual or not. Either way, geez, this guy is in hot water on many fronts. No ‘Tang is worth all of this!

In all of these coaching rumors, do you ever consider the source—the fire that keeps them burning—are future betting markets?

As example in comparison to CKD to ____.

Terry Smith was linked to getting the Penn State job. There was interest there. How many people put $100 on +400?

(I'm not saying there isn't interest from UM. I am not saying DeBoer's party won't listen to what UM has to offer. Accepting is another ball game.)

Michigan is playing Texas in the Citrus. They'll be coached by Bill Poggi who is already 2-0 this season coaching UM.

Michigan ranks up there with UGA in my "out of conference" hate manual. Texas used to be right with them but now they are laying with the dogs.

I don't care, at all, for anything related to UM athletics. The same applies for Texas.

Who do I really want to lose?

IF they end up upsetting Texas, shouldn't Poggi be a lock for the next head coach? A win there and he'll have coached close to a third of UM's wins this season.

Morbidly sad thinking about Juan threatening to go "West side" on another coach and heres another UM coach going "West side" on an employee. Geez.

This is the same story that has been circulating on boards and social media. I wouldn't be shocked if it was true.

I thought Poggi was dealing with health issues and that's why he left St. Frances and simply started "helping" out at Michigan. Crazy how he's elevated to interim head coach twice. A dang stock broker of all things. He's managed his second career pretty nicely to have been in this situation twice. I can't imagine a full time head coaching label being offered to him though at Michigan.
