I agree 100%. If you can't afford the contract, don't agree to it. If a coach shreds the moral clause by his actions, like an Orgeron type, then go ahead and trigger it and recoup some money. But when you're firing someone strictly on wins and loses, to hold it over them and try to embarrass them into taking less is bullshit. auburn tried the same thing with Harsin. Got buyers remorse, and then pitched a fit about it.

My understanding is there is no deal and most likely won't be until Kiffin makes his move. auburn wants him, but Sumrall is going to be in a position where he can drive up the price and pick the job he wants... in the end, I have a feeling they'll get him (unfortunately), but hopefully it'll cost them.

Two thoughts about this if true, Jimmy Sexton simply at work or CKD is not made out of what it takes to coach at Bama. I guess we shall see. At this point I just want him to clean up what happened last weekend.
