šŸˆ šŸ”„ Hot Seat 2025 / Coaching Carousel:

Norvell belong here now?

His seat has been saved, LOL. Just a matter of when the price is right.

One day, these schools are going to wise up and stop getting taken to the cleaners by the likes of Sexton and his peers (with these high buyouts and such). It might be a ways down the road.... but one day, it's going to happen.

I'd found something on FSU I can't find again. It should put Norvell on this list.

This is his fourth, four game losing streak. I'm pretty sure the guy cited 2020 and it being a quarter of a century since FSU had seen such.

I know, "buyout," right? I have a hard time reconciling that with seeing two rosters purchased over the last two seasons.

I hope they don't do it, but if Auburn wants to be serious program moving forward, they'll go hire Jon sumrall. He would turn that program around and build a winning culture. I hope they don't, and instead go hire Lashlee or some other douche.

I hope Sumrall goes elsewhere too. I’ve been on his bandwagon since he went to Troy and did a great job down there. I also tend to like genuinely nice people and he’s one of those. I’d love to see him het the Kentucky job but I don’t know if/when timing will ever be right on that. He’s absolutely make auburn better one day 1, but I will say if I were auburn, there would be a couple of concerns that came with him. As for him, he’d have to really know and understand (and be ok with) what he was stepping into with auburn and how they do things. Otherwise, long term it just wouldn’t work out.

Personally, I hope he passes on them.

Regarding Kentucky, maybe if he knows that Kentucky will fire Stoops this season he'll wait for the job? But there are 2-3 high profile jobs that could be calling his name coming up. So he's have to be pretty confident in stoops being fired not to take them.
