Lets hope it is a don't care and Bama does not have a bad performance against the Viles. But if they do, emotional/irrational fans will respond accordingly. I can say that for any loss (see the FSU loss response as evidence) but if it were to be against the Viles, oh my ... This is an indictment on fans not CKD.

Yo... This is off the wall stuff. I think I get what you're saying but... Emotional fans is the type that shouldn't be posting on social media and saying crazy stuff.

I keed I keed. When I was younger it was hard on me. Too emotional and vested in a W or L. It affected my mood. I'm glad message boards were in their infancy and not really prevalent, when I was in my 20's. I can remember the 1996 loss to Miss St........I blew a gasket. It was the height of the fun n gun at UF and we lost to MSU 17-16 on a late second FG. I told my dad I was sick and tired of Stallings and his 3 runs and punt offense.............I learned a valuable lesson over the next decade of yo-yoing. Be careful what you wish for! An ugly win was still a win.

My post did not have anything to do with appreciating or not appreciating this team. It is simple, Bama's fanbase will rip CKD a new one if they lay an egg. That is fact whether you like it or not because fans are stupid. Also reasonable people that read my post know that I am one of the few on this board that has had reasonable expectations for the post CNS era in the first year or two. You can argue and some have that my expectations for how dominant a D can be in this era is skewed but not about expectations about Post CNS era.

With all that said I know we can agree that we want Bama to dominate the Viles... May it be so... Roll Tide!!!

We just saw Penn State fork out a shit ton of money to get rid of Franklin. I promise you, if it comes down to it, LSU would pay that buyout.

They are going to get restless, but it would be dumb to can him right now, IMO. He's had a bit of a balance issue (which does fall on him) with the defense sucking last year and the offense sputtering this year. I'd absolutely give him at least another season unless they just absolutely derail.

Agreed. Definitely a timing issue. I liken it to Arkansas coming open and wanting Malzahn. Had he taken the Arky job, he would have got a reset and 3-4 years before the seat got hot. Instead he stayed at da Barn............and got paid $$$$$$$$$$$$ and canned.

Alabama beats Tennessee, Auburn loses and freeze will get fired, Tennessee looks like they're about to lose their baseball coach to the giants. It's a great day to be an Alabama fan!
