🏈 🔥 Hot Seat 2025 / Coaching Carousel:

One of his kids was playing at Xavier and he rented a place up there so he could watch him play. They never sold their house in Franklin. They've been back in Tennessee since the summer.

I'm trying to remember where I saw the pictures of their kitchen...I know this bullshit about his life because I saw an article about the house and its kitchen.
He probably rented in Centerville, this is where he is from and grew up. It is a suburb just south of Dayton and a 30 minute commute to Xavier.

This is what caught my attention. That's not cheap IF you're lucky and catch one on sale... the stove/oven. (The Rooster is grounds for divorce.) Hell, the little electric oven in the island ...

Yeah the rooster would have to go, would knock it over regularly right there. I like the Wolf range but I definitely don't need that many ovens. My philosophy is if it can be baked or roasted it's probably better grilled and grilling gives me a reason to go outside and have a beer so I'll grill it.

Heavy duty money with that stove and oven. My wife would love to have that to cook and bake cakes. She has a little side gig doing cakes besides her regular job. I am impressed.

We have some friends that buildt a barndominium type house last year. Jamie, the wife, ordered an oven/stove from France. It is huge! There is no telling what they paid to have that shipped over and made. If memory serves, I think it was about a 10 month ordeal from ordering, making and shipping it to Ohio.

The rooster has to go on principle. If I see one of those in a kitchen I'm thinking they are going to call Velveeta, cheese.

There are times I wish I had two. I can't see using the one in the island other than a warming station. Or, for bread or something like that.

It's a "gourmet kitchen" Kirk is getting fatter. I don't think the reason can be found in that room.

(I really wanted to see the fridge...no kitchen pictures are complete without them.)

I'd have to look it up. @Krimson is right, it's a Wolf. I've looked at those a few times. Brand new...that probably went for 7-8 grand when it came out. I'd put it at $3000 now. Just a guess.

I appreciate people spending money on their kitchen stuff IF they use their kitchen.

I guess I need to edit the thread to "Hot Stove"

You already know my position on bread but my guess was warming/proofing drawer. I can get past the cheesy rooster but don't put it in my way.

Does this extend to a piece of Texas toast with a steak? Or, a hot honey buttered roll?

What do you wipe of gravy with? Or, if you have eggs over easy...

That’s a drawer microwave in the island. They resemble ovens. The rooster decor went out of style about 2002. That’s a sign of someone trying too hard to be southern. His house isn’t too far from my office here, he’s got some acreage with it which is tough to come by.

I rarely eat any bread. Cornbread with greens or some soups, occasional sandwich or burger, can't remember the last time I had Texas toast or a roll and if I have a roll I'm passing on butter, don't like honey butter at all. I'll eat a biscuit but I'm normally eating leftovers for breakfast as I don't love most breakfast foods. Gravy goes on mashed potatoes or rice for me 95% of the time. Don't do half cooked eggs either unless it's in Bibimbap.

You shut your whore mouth!!! Are you a yankee?

Next thing you'll post is that you eat sugar in your grits and that peanuts are meant to be crunchy and not boiled. Sacrilege!!!!!!
My mouth has been in some pretty rough places so maybe you're right but I don't want honey in butter. I'm salt, pepper and cheese when I eat grits by themselves but prefer grits and oysters or shrimp and grits but never sugar in them. Peanuts I like roasted or boiled provided they have some flavor. Grew up in the southwest corner of lower alabama so pretty sure I ain't a Yankee.
