Who is not on the hot seat? Clark Lea. Vandy folks are boldly saying this is the best Vandy squad they’ve ever had. Lots of excitement in these parts. How they do in Columbia will give us a little more insight. They could realistically come to Tuscaloosa 5-0. Could they take down Goliath in consecutive years? Not Vandy! Lea is doing an excellent job there.

Several times we have went after coaches that would not take the job..Rich Rod being one... sometimes Alabama is too much pressure for the coaches families... We are too tough on them if the season don't go well... Any of their children, if that attend school knows it.. even Saban's daughter toward the end started alluding to it.. BUT WE AREN'T THE ONLY SCHOOL.. look at Ryan Day at Ohio State.. look at Ryan Kelly at LSU... but Bama is probably worse than both of them..We are just spoiled...

The Alabama job is a prime job . . . If you can handle the pressure. It pays well (probably overpays). You have excessive exposure within the college and professional football worlds. The challenge is you’re expected to win championships - quickly. Those who were considered and didn’t come on board were turned away by the pressure.
