I have no idea if Brando's been peddling this "DeBoer to PSU" story for a while now and just refuses to admit that he was wrong, or if for some stupid reason he just jumped on the "story" to stir things up. But his arrogant high horse approach to it falls immediately flat when he's trying to school Potter on how it all works behind the scenes. DeBoer was never an option for Penn State. As predicted (really stated, since it wasn't a prediction) a couple weeks ago, DeBoer and Sexton did not (and will not) even use the "rumors" to better their current deal, like several others did, including Cignetti and Elko. But, Brando is too proud and too arrogant to take an L on this, so he doubles down, thinking it makes him look smart. The guy is already unlikeable because he oozes jealousy at his standing in his professional life after being shut out of the SEC football world and banished to calling West Virginia at Arizona games on FS1 at 9 pm central on Saturday nights... you'd think a family member, friend, or therapist would do him a favor and tell him to stay off social media completely. And that while fans are never going to accept him as anything above second-rate, at least then there'd be a chance we'd all just forget about him all together.
