He may know... from what I gather today from an auburn friend/fairly high level booster and a scouting source with good agent connections, the belief seems to be that Sumrall has multiple options, even if Kiffin stays at OM.... if he leaves OM, that drives up his price. auburn's "strong suggestion" that he keep Durkin didn't go over well, nor did the fact that Cohen has basically double downed on it to some degree. But Sumrall would do well to keep auburn on his line until he agrees with another school... the more leverage, the better. My auburn pal is not hoppy.

That was what Cohen did without warning with the Baylor return game that pissed off all the auburn fans... ticket holders at least.

If he truly desired the UF and/or LSU jobs (which I think he did/does to some degree) he'd let Sexton know and let Sexton do his work behind the scenes, where it would get done quietly and effectively. Obviously, speculation would still be sky high, but an initial statement when asked weeks ago followed by a "will not comment on it any further from here" would have ended the circus on his end of it. Instead, he kept throwing logs on the fire because he enjoys the flames.. What's it matter to him, he's not the one that's gonna get burned in the end.

I guess I haven't seen these logs. My point is it's a shitty situation given the portal, playoff, etc.
