🏀 Final Four picks from the national media. What's yours?

Setting the team up for disappointment if they do not make it far into the tournament. Hard for me to see going year after year missing the tournament and then being able to make a deep run. I think the D gives them a chance but the inconsistency on offense (points and turnovers) puts them at risk of exiting much earlier. I do think they started playing better and had the refuse to lose mentality in the SEC tournament. Will that be enough to get this deep into the tournament? Hard for me to see it but would love it if they did.

All of this rat poison isn’t helping matters. I recently posted sort of tongue in cheek that I hope Oats gets advice from Saban on how to counteract it. Now, because of all of the people who have picked the Tide to go deep into the Tournament the past few days, I really do hope Saban gives him some pointers. If this was the Bama team in January, I’d say they would definitely have a good shot of making the FF and/or all the way to being crowned the champions. Though they really haven’t been hitting the threes like they were then. Of course, they’ve found ways to win without them but to beat the elites you have to be able to match their shooting.

Have not actually looked at the stats to confirm but feels like the D is playing even better than they were in January. I completely agree with you on getting some advice from Saban. Different sport but it is still about managing people and trying to get them to perform up to their potential.

I did the same. Filled out 2 and of course one had Bama winning it all and the other had Bama getting to the final 4 .

I’ve been around too long to predict a final four appearance for Alabama. I would love it, but this isn’t normal. With football, we can usually say with confidence that Alabama will be a contender for the championship. Alabama getting to the final four or beyond is a hope and a dream. I’m hoping and dreaming it comes true.
