Alexander does a great job on this run fit, takes his read step, works his way downhill while keeping his shoulders squared, physical when taking on the blocker and uses his hands to stack and shed off of him quickly. Love how he initiated the contact, and was violent when taking on the lineman. Good job of shooting his hands inside the lineman and creating that knock back for space to get off and make a play. Loved how he finished the play, it was VERY close on whether or not it was a first down. Alexander had a nice game, along with a few others as well at his position( I plan on going over them as well).
We've got some absolute studs at ILB this season. I'm excited for this season, I'd really like to see a butkus winner this year. Both Lawson and Campbell are capable of making that happen. We'll see how they do.
