As a gray-haired Bama fan, I had gone my entire life without "striking the pose" ...it just didn't seem like anything I'd want to do.

Sunday morning, I was wading thru all the great coverage about Mark winning...one thing that struck me as funny was Mark saying people were flashing the pose at him around the campus.

So I'm getting dressed for the day...a big mirror in front of me...and to my own wonderment...I find myself trying out the pose....

Which arm gets the ball and which the stiffarm, where are the legs, how is the head turned...

Before I knew it, I'm looking up a photo of the statue to get it right...perfecting my stance.

All the while wondering if I've simply gone nuts.

But I bet I'm not the only one!

HAHAHA! I struck the pose last night at a Mexican restaurant that I go to. One of the waiters I have gotten know has been razzing me since FLA beat us last year. Tebow was his God. Last night was the first time I had seen him since and I struck the pose. He said well at least my school can win basketball championships. I told him all that was over too. LOL!

My husband has done it numerous times since Saturday night and at least half dozen times (it was requested) today while at work (we work together) and all while wearing his new 22 jersey (with BCS patch) and Bama Nike Swoosh hat he got for his birthday. He and I "couple Heisman-ed" (per request) as well. This has been pretty sweet! Can we get a Heisman pose emoticon??!! LOL!!!
