Hey gang, we're about to begin playing fantasy football this year. Well, not "about" to, but the season will be coming up on us soon, so I am in the process of getting things set up. Some of you know that the guys here on the site play every year. Unfortunately we missed last year's season so we are having to start over from scratch. That opens the door for new people who might be interested in playing with us

Since we have some slots available, I would just like to get people to respond here if they are interested. Just make your mark, or you can shoot me a private message, or whatever.

You should know that this is a pay league. However, the fee to play is only like $12.00 per person. I mean, seriously. You won't find a better deal than this. Our league is fully customizable and you will definitely get your money's worth. It'll be a lot of fun. Except when you play me. Then it's a beat down, and just fun for me. :lol:

RETURNING OWNERS ESPECIALLY NEED TO READ THIS:

Things we need to address;

1. I am going with fractional or (full) scoring this season. This means you get the max amount of points possible by your players. Example; if your RB goes for 137 on the ground you no longer get the 13 points. You now get the 13.7 points, getting credit for the excess that occurs over the 10 or 20 yard barrier.

2. Defense heavy? In the past we've awarded a good amount of points for good defense. Do you guys still want that?

3. I'm looking at going away from the FLEX position and just adding an additional WR to the starting lineup. Any thoughts?

4. Any other issues you would like to bring up, please do.

count me back in....

as far as defense goes...is there a way to draft individual players..i mean come on there are really only 3 or 4 actual TEAM defenses worth having.....yes please do away with the FLEX...all it does is screw up the draft....BTW.....what are we paying for...when there are better leagues for free (yahoo)...just curious

Most of us don't like Yahoo is the main reason. Sportsline commish option also has far more customizable options. I am in the process of setting up the scoring now, and that entails different values for team defenses, individual players, etc. I am also doing the fractional scoring. You can get pretty advanced with sportsline.

Having said that, another option might be NFL.com. I played on there last year. Similar to sportsline and they have the live video of your scoring plays, and so forth. We could look at that if people want to. It might even be free.

My baseball team should be renamed the Red Crossers, cause they're all injured. I think we have 8 reserve hitters and 5 of mine are on the DL, with one player pulling a quad just a day or two ago, so he's out of action. Yeah, my team is struggling.

As far as football, we missed it last year so I wanted to get an early start in setting it up this year.
