I work with a few UGA fans, and to a man they expressed concern about their OL. I'm thinking that once Mt. Cody has punched their Center in the mouth a few times Georgia (that most penalized team in the SEC) will be jumping off sides so often that the Ref will have more air time than Kasey Kasem.

I've been trying to find an answer since yesterday afternoon about Georgia's center.

Last week they started a true freshman, Ben Jones, at center.

The question I have is if their LT, Kiante Tripp, is going to be back from his ankle injury that kept him out of last weekends game versus Az. St. His injury forced UGA to move their starting LG (Vince Vance)to LT, their starting center (Chris Davis) to to LG and pull Ben Jones off of the bench.

You may remember the name Cordy Glenn. He was a guy we were after pretty hard last year on the recruiting trail who eventually signed with UGA. Cordy started a few games this year but has been replaced with the guy who started off the year at RT, Clint Boling.

What do you see here? More shuffling than a game of 3-card Monty.

Bottom line, Cody/Chapman are going to be facing guys that have experience, but have a real good chance of facing some very young players along the offensive line.

An avid Dawgs fan that I work with stated that they have yet to repeat a starting OL and the lack of experience is his main concern. If true, this underscores your concern that the screens and short passes will be the flavor of the day.

So, if Cody running through the middle of the line will be a breeze, perhaps we should line him up at DE and tell him to rush sideways, taking out every Dawg between the TE and the OT on the other end.

If quick passes are the rule of the day, our DBs will have to a lot of press overage. The CB will have to be tough, and the Safeties will have to be rock solid. If we do this, and get a good rush on, we stand a chance of get a pick or two.
