🏈 Fake FG: Have you ever seen a play take so long to develop...

...to the point the UArk defense had a good five seconds to call a TO, but didn't?

Literally, I sat here watching us line up, said out loud "we're blowing this play as long as it's taking..." and still we got away with it? In that fashion?

Yeah I didn't even think about the fact that they just sat there confused rather than calling a time out... but we really did catch them off guard, they were very obviously no where near ready for that

I just mean the stupid FG holding duties against Seattle a few years ago...

these dallas fans out here are a riot, Romo goes from hot --> cold --> hot --> cold with these fans.

lol i know, i remember that game... gave Shaun his first playoff win i believe (speakin of that, anybody see him in the endzone watchin the game?)

alot of fans despise him lol

I've been a Cowboys fan since 1982. I like Romo but I get really frustrated with him at times. He's very inconsistent. I'll be very surprised if the Cowboys ever have much playoff success with him at QB.

It's one thing to catch the defense off guard on the field. It's quite another story to catch their entire on the field coaching staff off guard like that. You've seen coaches run down the sidelines to call a TO just to avoid a penalty. Not a soul moved on their sideline, which falls as much on the coaches shoulders as it does the defense, perhaps more.

Terry, if it looked like it took a long time for the play to get off multiply that by 2 or 3 in person. I promise my son and I actually had time to leisurely discuss our options once AJ switched back to QB. Then the ball must have been in the air 8 seconds before Michael Williams caught it. I was sitting there thinking wide open, don't drop it for what felt like forever. I'm sure he was probably thinking the same.;)

I had literally just seen Williams' parents minutes ago. I'm sure they were so proud! I didn't necessarily love getting the ball first ( I always prefer that 1st possession of 2nd half), but that's why Saban makes the kind of money he does. What a great way to set the tone. We got our money's worth in all phases yesterday.:a: Roll Tide!

^^ you see what LSU did to score, brought in their FB to get the short yardage and then went to #33 via pass and TD, caught WVU way off guard.

I watched that game and knew the clam clapper was going to call a deep pass. My wife was thinking run as was everyone else. The clam clapper and his purple and gold pawn star team will be quite a match this year.
