No. The same can't be said. It's a highlight. The offensive line for the fall hasn't practiced together, ya know? As the Vegas saying runs ..."don't know shit."
Good reports though.
Hopefully so.

And when facing one of the best defenses in the nation? Whew!
How when their OL isn't good enough to hold Braswell, Andreson and Turner at same time? Won't have time to have to let play develop long enough for deep plays.
I wonder if there's a plateau in play here because of his injury. I feel teams attacked him more often because he never was at 100%.But it's still a concern when we saw Moore take a step back last season.
I haven't read that 'tone' from what @Justneedme81 has been saying.Dude, I simply don't understand why you think it's impossible for anyone to do anything against us.

It's not really about arrogance or anything. I've looked at the last 4 games of offense/defense and then compared them to spring camp. I factor in who's leaving and who's staying, and who's likely to step up and that's where I draw my conclusion based on the data, and I don't see any reason for Defense to take a step back this fall, especially with emergence of Braswell, Anderson and Turner with a solid LB and CB play... That's lot of experience on Defense, so its rare to have experienced defense to take a step back under Saban.Too much optimism that borders arrogance. I am more realistic. This team most definitely should win the Natty, I've been saying that. I've also noticed a shift in college football where there are about four or five title worthy teams. It's no longer Alabama, and everyone else. While we still just win, we are forced to reload every year like everyone else. With the portal, we lose players like everyone else. With NIL, we lose out on guys like everyone else. Obviously with our success we lose players early to the draft and coaches to other opportunities more than others. All of that tempers my expectations anymore, plus it's ok to notice perceived weaknesses. The deep ball still concerns me is all.
There's a chart that tracks the Deep ball Bama gave up last season.Alabama’s DBs played in position most of the year and were generally in phase with their man; there weren’t a litany of opponents scampering freely through the secondary like gazelle in the Garden of Eden. Unlike 2019, the DBs were very ball aware too — players weren’t getting their heads around late on passes, and giving up easy conversions (that way, at least).
- Alabama was a respectable 29th in YPA, allowing 6.9 per toss.
- Alabama was T-14th in the country in INTs forced, picking off 15 in 15 contests.
- 3rd down completion percentage was very good, particularly on shorter passes where the positional play was able to be exploited.
Optimistically I see this as a positive because there is an experienced/talented guy coming into the fold.No. The same can't be said. It's a highlight. The offensive line for the fall hasn't practiced together, ya know? As the Vegas saying runs ..."don't know shit."

I haven't felt like there's any more shuffling than normal. I tend to mention a lot happening each season before camp begins always pointing to "we'll know in the fall."Although it's a little concerning, because as noted, these groups need time to gel. Is it just me or has there been a lot of real shuffling late in fall camps to find the best 5? Like, really late. Don't know if that was the old OL coach or CNS... Or the circumstances... But having more time together is always a positive and it seems like that's been an issue.
I was thinking Owens wasn't being reported at RT until right before that game (and he was at center or guard leading up). I could be wrong though!I haven't felt like there's any more shuffling than normal. I tend to mention a lot happening each season before camp begins always pointing to "we'll know in the fall."
The starting five against Miami remained that way until rest/injury.
Ferguson comes out of spring second team left guard leaving out Ekiyor, Steen joining, etc. He's taking snaps as a back up center. In a nutshell, he's basically a three. I don't know if he'd get reps before Jaeden Roberts.Other than Ferguson, is there another young OL really in the mix? A freshman that can make a run in fall camp? Looking for a young cat to establish themselves as a future star...

Under Saban's, the DL set the tone of the play, and if they can generate enough pressure up front then it allows LBs to make play, we're in good hands. You made it sound like the OLBs are doing all of the work, and I never said that. They play a huge role on the defense. Will Anderson and Turner are hard to blow on consistent basis, so they are very good.
As far as OL, I'm not really concerned about them as of now, because we have new OL coach, and they need time to gel and Summer/Fall camp will provide that. I"ll worry about them when that time comes.. We'll know something by 2nd or 3rd game if we got issue or not.
I've noticed you have brought up NIL so many times.... Let me ask you this: have it affected Alabama in negative way in regard to NIL Deals? Have we lost a player to transfer portal of NIL yet? Have the player used the portal to get NIL with Alabama? Saban operates differently from others.
I doubt Saban will let NIL drive one of the Bama players to the portal...
I want to point out this: LSU/ Georgia lost lot of players/coaches to NFL/ opportunities after winning Championship. Alabama just happened to win more championships in past 10 years and that's why we lose so many players/coaches.. This is nothing new... We know how to manage that.
Now on Deep ball.... sighs
I'm not understanding why you're concerned about the deep ball play. This past season, the DBs had the following:
There's a chart that tracks the Deep ball Bama gave up last season.
+30 yards- 19 <-- half of that were on 3rd and 4th downs. That was our majority of our issues.
+40 yards- 9
+50 yards -5
+60 yards- 3
+70 yards and more- 1
Yes, I've never seen a Texas meltdown thread...Sounds like something a loser would say.
Let's be fair.Sounds like something a loser would say.
