🏈 🙄 Agiye Hall: “One thing that really stood out is the culture. Bama fans — they’re not really loving, if I could say — even when you leave.

Did you see what Trey Sanders said? it sounded like Hall is gone.
Unless there was that final straw broken over the last two days ... as of Saturday, he was under suspension. As mentioned earlier in the thread he was practicing last week but didn't get reps in scrimmage work. That fits with suspension.

There are things that don't pass the logic test right now and I've reasons to doubt both the official roster and the group reporting he's out.
Speaking of that: Now BOL is saying he was scheduling visits with Oklahoma, USC and Florida and didn’t tell anyone. One of the coaches reached out to Alabama and let them know and that was the final straw.

I linked the interview on the first page of this thread, next to the last post on page one.

Frankly, I don't make a lot of what he said and I say that based on the word salad question proffered by Smith. The question dealt with how Trey inspires players in a leadership role and what he's seen from Hall on the practice field. He, Trey, said he doesn't know what's going on with Hall.

What do we know?

He was suspended going into camp.
He worked his way back on the practice field and had a good week working with the 2's.
He didn't get reps in the scrimmage.
He's not listed on the roster.

As I said earlier I've seen many mistakes over the years with the University's "PR arm" in the things like the site and the media guides. The same can be said for those reporting on the story.

I'm still of the opinion there's as good of a chance of one as there is of another but we're all speculating until we hear something official.

Let's not forget Hall said it was all news to him too... always taken with a grain of salt, but the guy actually involved is countering the information posted, so until and unless something more concrete is posted I'd personally shy away from reporting Hall is not on the team any more.

Regardless, I don't really care anyway. Saban and staff know exactly what is going on and what has transpired and I trust that staff to manage the situation to the best of the team and to the best of Hall. The outcome will be whatever it is... no use worrying about it now.

Are you suggesting that Hall was playing “Who wants to be a millionaire” and used up his last life line?
Phone (who he thought was) A Friend.

I heard rumors yesterday that he'd been "exploring the portal" without notifying anyone at Bama he was contacting other schools. This morning the same story from someone I trust. In this case his "life line" phoned a friend and that friend happens to be at Alabama.

Based on what I've learned it mirrors what we saw on the field. He thought he could play without putting in the work. Here he thought he could play the game without following the rules of the game. It blew up.

There's other stories running around this morning about UAPD's involvement that's as much off the field as it is on the field ... but I'm getting into the weeds here.

With football it's a case of "this is what I want to do" which isn't wrong. It's the "this is how I want to do it" that has been an issue from day one.

Here's a young guy, a father, who is also dealing with a lot outside of Alabama football. I hope his talent doesn't go to waste.

But still, nothing to verify he's gone. I certainly don't know everything but what I'm hearing when asking is suspended.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread about him exploring the portal... But rest of it... Sounds like my 12 years old... Wont' put in work... Thought she could get away without doing the work. She's doing exactly the same thing Hall is doing in term how he is handling things in school and on field. The way I look at Hall... Nobody will touch him once they hear his issues... He probably will land somewhere and flame out quickly....

Just let him go. He acts like a 12-year old. He is not nearly productive or talented enough to deal with this bullshit.

He hasn't produced when given the opportunity. No one stands on the other side of that statement.

Not talented enough? He had plenty of talent to start on Alabama's offense; almost prototypical if you look at his size, his speed and explosiveness, and he has great hands for a receiver.

The guy, SSN_Alabama, said he was booted the day before yesterday. He wasn't. I don't agree with the response—it's petty—but it's easy to see where it came from.

Saban:

I know that you'll probably ask me about Agiye Hall. He is suspended from the team for violation of some team rules, whether they're academic or whatever it doesn't really matter. Everybody has a responsibility and obligation to respect the principles and values. They're all there to help them be more successful. So to respect those and do those is always really helpful.
He already had that opportunity once. So I don't know what his plans are for the future.
