šŸ“” šŸ‘€ Looking to Ole Miss: Game Time Adjusted Due to Hurricane Delta

Spann's models show it kicking a hard right over Alabama like the storm we had a couple of weeks ago. I heard John Parker Wilson say on last week's pregame show that rain was never a concern for a QB, just all the wind. Still, this could put more emphasis on the run game, which could be a blessing in disguise.

OM rush D struggled against UK. Hopefully that bodes well for Bama. We can also find ways to get the ball to our receiving play makers with short passes and let them get YAC. On the flip side Kiffin also knows how to scheme to move the ball when conditions are not ideal. He just does not have the players Bama has.

The latest... still way too early to say much, but it could get interesting if it stays on track at the predicted pace.

Weather helps us in my mind. We by far have the superior line and running backs in case we can't throw. We also have a killer run defense. Might be like the Alabama-Georgia game from back in 2015. Henry enjoyed that game, and I think Najee would enjoy a similar one like that.

What? I have to admit I had to go look up the stats and it is better than I thought but still not I would call a killer run D. Bama is giving up 92 yds/game and that is good for 4th in the conference.

Maybe I should have expressed we have the athletes to be a killer run defense. I feel we can defend the run better than we can the pass. Our backers are fast, but much better coming down hill than getting to their zone or running man to man.

After only two games I don't see the 4th in the conference as any indicator of how well Bama defends the run. After all, LSU (ranked above Alabama) only defended the run against LSU less than ten times. It was either six or eight attempts, was it not? People can point to UGA's run defense at less than 100 per game. However, they've played two of the bottom three in the conference in rushing yards.
