I lurked on a barner forum. There is a contingent of those idiots who actually WANT the 2020 season to be cancelled. Why? Because it would mean one less IB in Tuscaloosa.

It would mean no IB until 2021, which would mean back to back IBs at their little pasture. They are actually giddy over the prospect of it. So....they are fine with losing an entire season of football, revenue and all... just so they can host consecutive IBs. Seriously? Surely they do realize that the loss of a season will hurt every last program, them included. It's not like they will just pick back up where they left off in 2019...wait...what am I saying.....there is no application of logic when it comes to that fan base.

THAT'S their level of thinking. that's as far as it goes...that's as HIGH as it goes. lose every other game...but beat ALABAMA and their coach would keep getting contract extension after contract extension and bonus after bonus.

Agree...but....beating Bama is a BIG deal.....for Clemson, AU, Texas AnM....all the wanna be's...come late-lees....a moment in times...etc...

I think that focus will come in pretty damn clearly this November. We're all pissed about how that game went down, but no one is more pissed about it than Coach Saban.

What killed us that day was the overall inability to stop auburn. We didn't get them to go 3 and out nearly enough and we never once sacked lil Bo Peep nor forced him to throw a pic. He had a Johnny Football kind of day against us, which was what I was afraid of going in. Waddle and Najee ate their lunch all day long. But in the end, our D was just way too gassed and of course...Gus got away with shit he could only get away with at home. No way that bullshit review at the end of the first half would have gone his way had the game not been at jerk off hair. I wanna gorilla stomp them in T Town this season. i have no problem with them saying that. the winner gets braggin' rights for at least another 365 days. that's all part of this whole thing. but they hang their hat on pretty much this game, and this game, alone as a measure of how their season is regarding good or bad.

i'd be willing to bet that the majority of auburn fans, if asked about the 2010 season, would say that beatng BAMA in BDS was the highlight of that season.

They think that in the event of the 2020 season being cancelled, their bragging rights from 2019 automatically renew. Those.were their exact words. Some of them are actually hoping for that to happen so as to avoid trips to Athens and Tuscaloosa.

They are so clueless. They forget that they would miss out on key home games with LSU and Texas A&M. It means they would have to go to Baton Rouge back to back times, a location where they haven't won in over 20 years. Plus, those fuck heads really miss the bigger picture. Not being able to play for a season would have ramifications for any program. Some worse than others. The loss of the 2020 season could really set their program back. But, to them, it would be worth it, so long as those bragging rights got "renewed"

I was at that game and our seats were close to the goal line where Ingrams fumble rolled for like 100 yards out of the end zone. Not a way to start of your day..
