I'm guessing the evidence was way more damning than the slap-on-the-wrist punishment, and in his vehement disagreement, wants to shed a light on the injustice?
@planomateo, I was listening to a podcast through ESPN recently and one reporter mentioned Meyer had talked to his lawyer/agent the morning of the B1G media days and advised him to answer differently.
At his press conference, it didn't sound like the words he spoke were words he wrote, ya know? I've seen some speculate the address was handed to him minutes before he addressed the media.
The board member that resigned left the meeting around lunch time. He left bc he thought the suspension was not severe enough. He submitted a letter to the president of the board that evening. The new of his resigning just came out in the past two days. Jeff Wadsworth is the trustee.
He has to be drunk. How any sane, logical thinking sober person would think cheating and beating the shit out of your wife are event remotely on the same level is beyond me.
