🏈 ESPN and COLT McCoy

Really? You realize Bama barely beat a team that didn't have it's qb, don't you?

Not sure what game you watched, but Alabama won that game convincingly. You do realize why said quarterback was not in that game right? It's because he got beat down by the Crimson Tide.

You also realize that Alabama's quarterback played with two cracked ribs?

You tickle me. Thanks for your interest in Alabama Football though!

ps. It feels great to be National Champions! Maybe one day you will know what it feels like.

It's a shame that Colt just went down on his own.

What? He didn't? He was knocked out of the game by a Bama player?

Well. I guess Colt not being in there is why Bama had 2 running backs with over 100 yards rushing against that stout rushing defense.

It's a shame that it wasn't illegal for Dareus to hit McCoy.

I have family in Texas and they told me about this kid last year. When he came in I knew we had to jump on them fast because if this kid got confortable he was dangerous.

Maybe if Texas played something other than poopie all year McCoy would have been used to getting hit hard. I'd Guess if McCoy played in SEC he would be out by game 6. Oh also Texas could have had the backup ready if they weren't padding the stats of Colt all year when up by 40 and him still throwing passes. Backup could have been season had he gotten PT in the games they were up by 3 or more touchdowns. Idiot coaching.

Look at Trent. If Ingram would have went down. How many of us would not have faith in our backup? great coaching.

We let up they caught up and we hit the accelorator again. plain and simple.

It's a shame that it wasn't illegal for Dareus to hit McCoy.

I can't find the article right now so I can't post a link, but a homer replied to the article that it WAS an illegal hit and we should have been penalized! WTF?! Like Colt said, it's a hit he's taken many times, but this time it just caught him wrong. I thought about responding, but realized nothing I said to him would make this guy understand football. McCoy is a class act and it's just too bad more of his fans don't follow his example.

ALSO, I actually didn't see any evidence that Gilbert wasn't a prepared backup for McCoy. Sure, I thought that when he first stepped in last night, but he's a freshman who just came in cold to the biggest game of the year so nerves are completely understandable. He almost staged an inexplicable comeback...ok we were pretty complacent AND Ingram wasn't playing at the time, but STILL! He's going to be a force next year.
