is matt barkley going through spring practice with the trojans?

if so, how is that possible..

if it is, why don't other players choose that option..

To my knowledge, the only way Barkley could compete in spring practice is if he was a December grad. I'm not sure if he was, but if he did complete highschool in December, he should already be in college practicing with the team.

For the record, Chance Warmack was a December grad for us and is enrolled and practicing with the team.

Barkley is practicing. ESPN had the Trojans on t.v the other morning and it showed him practicing and said he was competing for the starting job.

FWIW, Barkley played his HS ball at Matre Dei in Santa Ana. I think, and I might be wrong on this, Dei is a private school. I't reasonable to assume that Barkley was on the speed graduate program while there. This is not your usual, run of the mill, LAUSD-type of high school. They actually care about academics there, from what I hear.
