It's a joke, and as much as I love college football, it takes away from the enjoyment for me. So much of it is just so unnecessary. MLB is just as bad, if not worse.

Some good news coming soon in regards to this. Sankey is about to bring back the real whistles (for the SEC). I'm hard on the guy, but good on him for this. Also, kudos to him for getting this season off the ground in the way he's doing it. He played his cards right, and made a lot of others look silly in the process.
