🏈 Eddie score right before the fumble? Here's a good screen shot of that play.

The whole time they were showing replays about whether or not it was a fumble i was screaming at the tv wondering why they werent reviewing if he scored or not. 2 or 3 angles it looked like he broke the goalline before the ball came out

I was pissed they did not take that call back but a lot of angles and videos show it breaking. I guess the refs don't have the luxury of screenshots though. Ugh. But in the end, Crimson karma kept us rollin'!! Great effort by Lacy, even if it did end in a (recovered) fumble. He really stretched it out.

I swore it broke the line and was yelling at my tv.

I was so upset with the officiating of the game. Not only did we have to beat UGA but apparently we had to go against the entire nation and its officiating crew. It was obvious they wanted no part of seeing Bama back in the NCG. The "tipped" pass that was not, the fumble crossing the end zone that was not, the "interception" of Milliner that was even less conclusive evidence than the "tipped" ball showed, the lack of block in the back call on punt return where one of our guys got de-cleated in front of a ref, Gary and Verne doing their best to virtual punish Bama as dirty players, UGA thugs trash talking and sticking their hands in the throats of our guys yet we get the flag. It was just rediculous and obvious they wanted no part of Bama having a chance to repeat. Suck it Dawgs and the officiating crew you rode in on. :smiley-no-no-yellow

I was screaming it too, thank God it ended up not mattering!

I just hope this aint a sign of things to come in the NCG, last night we had to beat the refs and jawja too and thats hard to do.

We had two penalties for 15 yards. The second one should have been flagged on both sides, but it was hardly something that could have changed the outcome. We were moved back 10 yards, but it was still 1st and 10. Now, we didn't score on the drive. That wasn't due to the penalty—three straight running plays netting two yards each time.

I've got some Georgia buddies who are complaining as much as we are about the officiating. Officiating, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.

This is one thing that gets on my nerves as much as anything about the game—opposing fans and ours.

Sometimes I can understand the frustration and sympathize. For example, when a flag is missed like Penn Wagers crew missing 12 men on the field versus Arkansas.

When it comes to judgement calls? Hey, it's the breaks of the game.

I thought the ball broke the plane.

I thought the officiating in this game sucked in general. A lot of blown/missed calls on both teams in my opinion.

I would be rolling my eyes as well if the officials didn't have a replay booth for specifically this type of thing. But they do and stuff like this should never leak through. That's why we have the system.

It is what it is, and it was awful officiating.

I admit there were a lot of bodies involved, but I thought at the time that on the play where Jesse got hurt he was chop blocked. Definitely engaged with a player head on, sure looks like he was hit from the side below the waist. I admit that I have the advantage of a new big screen and looked at it frame by frame. Not reviewable in any case but a missed call for sure.
