I would like to post the link from AL.com but I'm not that good at it.

Was he really ever here? Or was just his name here?

I would have liked to see him play, but you can't see the field if you don't work in the class room. It's a shame when you have all of the support staff these guys can tap into and they just don't work at it. Maybe some one can answer this question, Did he just think he would play by his talent alone with out the grades?

Sometime around spring camp, maybe a little before or a little after, I had a conversation with a guy who graduated last season. At that time he was in Bryant Hall eating with two of the guys in our "back seven." I mentioned DC and asked if he was still working out on a consistent basis. I didn't make a mention of him playing, didn't ask about his grades, just asked about his work-out routine.

You would have thought both players were reading off of a cue card because they said, simultaneously, "he ain't gonna make it, he's gone."

Grades were one thing and it's something most point to because of the comments about transcript issues. Those were true, but it certainly wasn't limited to just grades. I'm sure he's said in the past, "ya'll test for that?" Do the math...

Now that it is "official", maybe someone can let ESPN know and for that matter, the Belintnikoff Award people!! So tired of hearing about this kid. Hate it for him, but there comes a time that you gotta GROW UP!!!

I laughed my ass off when that doofus Rod Gilmore said during Media Days yesterday that Duron Carter would make a big impact this year for us. I swear do they actually do any research?
