🏈 Drake , the return.

Get it bo. I am so pumped for him. Took him some time to find his way and place, but I think he's ready for a special season like Blake Sims had last year. He loves this program and it's fans and that's exactly what you want from a player. The guy will spit blood for us, so I'm hoping he benefits from a hell of a season this year.

How long do you think it will take for Kiffin to line up with Henry and Drake in the backfield, then motion Drake out wide?

We've always wanted to see Saban go Pro Set with RB tandems in the recent past, but for whatever reason, it never happened. If both guys were pure running backs, I doubt we would see it this year, but Kiffin has already proven he's willing to split Drake out wide to take advantage of linebacker coverage. Last year, he left the backfield empty when he split Drake out. Having the threat of Henry in the backfield can only help, especially if the qb isn't a threat to run. That could even be run as a play/pass option that the qb reads based on what he sees at the line. Throw against man/handoff against zone.

Man, I can't wait for Whisky.

This year will be a bit different, look for 2 TE sets, 2 RB sets as we do not have Fowler anymore, unless they convert Harris we won't have that true HB. You are absolutely correct. Having Drake in motion but Henry still available for the weak side sweep is exciting. They may use Nues or one of the other TE in an HB type play but I wouldn't imagine we see it as often.

Fairly confident it was in the playboy last year pre-injury, but I see Drake out of the slot with Henry and/or Harris in the backfied (ala bush-white at USC).
