How long do you think it will take for Kiffin to line up with Henry and Drake in the backfield, then motion Drake out wide?
We've always wanted to see Saban go Pro Set with RB tandems in the recent past, but for whatever reason, it never happened. If both guys were pure running backs, I doubt we would see it this year, but Kiffin has already proven he's willing to split Drake out wide to take advantage of linebacker coverage. Last year, he left the backfield empty when he split Drake out. Having the threat of Henry in the backfield can only help, especially if the qb isn't a threat to run. That could even be run as a play/pass option that the qb reads based on what he sees at the line. Throw against man/handoff against zone.
Man, I can't wait for Whisky.
