Hey, I know I said here on the forum that we'd be able to run on Notre Dame in the BCSNC game, successfully, a lot. However, I suspected it might be a tough ball game.

After that second down play for a first down where AJ hit Kevin on that route for about a 30 yard gain? You remember, the second play of the game? It was at that point you could see it was going to be a rout.

That play was the punch in the face. Eddie's 10 yard run just after that, for another first down, was another. You could see them falling down when the 15 yard penalty was assessed for the face mask.

AJ said that play was the play they knew they could take over the game. I really thought it would be hard to run against them and we would have to set up the run by passing because their secondary was young and susceptible. Turns out everything just worked..Yeah AJ and Kevin have really hooked up nicely in games and really opened up the offense. I expect big things from all of the receivers this year.

I honestly thought we would be in for a tough game against ND, but I think that pass to Kevin then the run by Lacy killed their spirit
