I'd much rather learn my life's lessons from a close win than a close loss as last year's NC team had to overcome. Guys that write such stuff can opine as to what it all means. For Bama fans, it should mean we are 3 games into a college season where every game is a playoff. Bama teams get better, freshmen and first-time starters are growing with every snap. If we stay healthy, our offense will be dynamic, our defense is filled with grown men. I'm not worried about winning it all after 3 games but as ole missed proved, you can lose it. Saturday was a big, big, hurdle to get over for the Tide. Well done.

Ole Miss is a Top 10 team. They put two pre-season playoff teams in their corner after 2-3 quarters of football. Reminds me a lot of last years Tennessee team. Hard fought victory for us, showed our character, and showed the youngins you do have to go earn it and that it simply isn't handed to you because you're Alabama. I was up and down yesterday, and somewhat humbled/happy today.

Okay... I think Ole Miss is a solid team but using FSU as an example is pretty awful right now, considering Louisville just skull dragged them into 1962.

A lot on the bucket list that Bielema hasn't accomplished since joining the SEC. One of those things is this Saturday in Jerry World. They need to beat the Aggies before I set off the fire alarm.

I tend to think aTm will be our biggest test. Not saying that Arky won't be tough. I'm looking more at logistics. We meet aTm week 8. We were running on fumes this time last year, ie the Tennessee game. Just like last year when UT was fresh coming off a bye week, aTm will be in that same boat. I think we have a tougher time just based off of us needing the rest vs aTm being rested up.
