🏈 Does Julio win the reciever of the year award next year!

He does work in a Balanced Attack, so that works against him. Its hard compete with pass-happy programs when you play on a team with 2000 yards rushing. Respect-wise, I say yes. Numbers-wise, I'd be surprised.

It would be hard pressed for Julio to win that award set in this offense. He'll still get his 60 -65 catches a year but those won't get him the pub that 90-100 catch season get. I think that in the long run, Julio will tell you that he doesn't care about the individual stuff just bring on the TEAM hardware.

I'll say no, for the reason stated above that he just won't get enough touches, but one more as well. For all the great displays of ability, heart and strength he showed this year, later in the season he developed a tendency to drop catchable passes. I don't know if his shoulder was bothering him following the LSU game, but he started trying to cradle passes instead of getting his arms up and out to catch them.

Don't get me wrong. He's already well ahead of every other wide receiver on our roster, so I'm not bashing him. If he's the hard worker I believe he is, he'll work on making those catches and be even better next year.

What are our closing stats this year for the returning receiver corp?

those would be the tell tale for what next year could look like. Not taking into account RR should he sign. If we get RR i think Coach Mac might just wet his pants at all the stuff he could do on Offense.
