I would guess Yes...but perhaps for the wrong reason.

It troubles me that all of a sudden you can't read the words "Ingram" and "Heisman" in the same paragraph without "Alabama has never had a Heisman winner", as if that phrase is a required caveat. It is almost as if the media has suddenly become assamed of this point and in on a mission to right this "wrong".

I have been sensing that vibe as well. I also think the media wants a tailback to win it this year.
