Not sure. All I know is that @rick4bama provided a photo of the "W" from It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Truly a legendary list of actors and actresses. The "kicked the bucket" scene is a classic.

Look it up if you have the time: neat little story. The logo for the chain has a nod to the movie with the two palms.

I knew the image as soon as I saw what he posted. I suspected a lot didn't know about In-N-Out. I'm thinking I'm right.

I haven't either. I designed a logo for a wholesale nursery a few years ago and found the story looking at different examples.
