I am question whether or not I've heard of the store before this post. Was it a Rural King in Fargo?

I've had orders where I didn't get everything. That's been inconvient but it's never been one of those "gotta have that now" things. I've orders delivered with things I didn't order; someone else's stuff. That's on Sparks, not on W.

They've never given me any issues on things I didn't get: a refund on both the item and the tip along with a credit to cover the delivery (under $35 in those situations.)

DoorDash sent me a gift certificate a few months ago and I used them twice: both times for the deli right up the street.

I have worse luck with Amazon and something like a pair of socks.

It’s more the filthy factor. There’s no guidelines or checks on these people, I’ve heard some gross stuff.
In a Popeyes a while back and overheard 2 of them talking about how they “get a taste” of every delivery…
These two looked liked they haven’t bathed in a while…

@It Takes Eleven best time to hit Home Depot looking for knowledgeable workers is from opening to about 5-6pm. At least at our store, that’s when our more experienced associates are scheduled. It’s a crap shoot after 5 to be honest!!

There was a time with HD many years ago where they touted the guy in electric was a retired electrician, etc. I know those days are gone and many times you're fending for yourself, other than asking where something is in the store. Thank goodness I've gained some competency over the years...

I don't think you can absolutely say that the walmart bagger didn't give the sparks guy the wrong stuff.

Absolutely? No. Extremely high? I'd say yes.

I looked back through about half of the year on orders and the ones that jumped out to me where the ones from the Supercenter. In my experience they normally deliver more than one order at a time. (Sparks is one of the few that work 24/7.) I'm guess 30-35 grocery specific orders last year and there were errors on a half of a dozen. Some are random. I ordered six chocolate donut's the other day from their bakery/deli and got a dozen. They didn't charge me extra. I got a deli pizza with one. Eaten. The rest of the stuff (like donut cakes were one) I took down the that community box where people leave food.

I still have to come back to the small things. I have two kitchen trash bags left. More will be here today.

A comparison of inventory turnover would be interesting to see ... between Walmart and Amazon. I'd bet there's difference in days but a big difference in the number of sellers.

I don't even ask them where items are in the store anymore. In my experience it's more helpful to look at the app and see where it says it is. Last thing I think i asked about was Teflon tape, you would've thought I was speaking a foreign language based on the responses from the workers, ended up being on an end cap.

Most stores I'd prefer if they were all automated. If I have to check myself out just get everyone else out of the way as well.

That’s why Home Depot is blowing Lowe’s out of the water when it comes to competition. We want customers to come back and we are trained to greet our customers and ask if they actually do need our help. Now, I work in the back in receiving and I have limited customer interactions, but I make a point to be polite.

I do prefer Home Depot to lowes, but here lately I’ve gone to HD couldn’t get what I wanted and had to get it at Lowes.
