I can finally again write on the forum. Its been to long. I just moved from VA to Southern California, and have had no time to do anything!!!
I live now in " USC country  "
But after going ONE football season away from SEC i have realized football in the West sucks!

TOP REASONS WHY SEC FOOTBALL SPOILS YOU!!!

1. tail-gating. I was at the USC vs. Stanford game where stanford won this year. Their verison of "Tail-gating" is a cooler and a SUV parked two hours before the game. Its bad. Its really bad. Then the Monday morning work meeting the day after new years is louder. That place was silent until the Fourth quarter. Then imagine the quiet before a storm. Thats how loud it was.

2. I can speak for southern california people. They are fair-weather fans. If its raining then they stay home. If its hot then they stay home. If its cold...they stay home. Unless its sunny high of 75.6 degrees they are not going to a sporting event. (unless they are Oakland Raiders fan)

3. what other conference is there outside of the SEC?

4. Out on the West coast all games start earlier. If a game starts at 1 on the east coast...everyone on the west coast is still sleeping!

5. Unless you have GAMEPLAN! you cant watch any games. ESPN, CBS, ABC plays local games here. So they blackout other games!

If anyone can tell them to play some games against UCLA or USC or CAL that would be SWEET!!!!

Dude, I've actually gotten up out of bed before, suddenly remembered there was a ball game, sat on the couch, and then watched that ball game!

Seriously, it's nothing out here to watch BAMA play a game at 9:00 A.M.

I'm surprised they don't show soccor 24/7. When I visited San Diego several years ago, I thought I was in Mexico. Hate that for ya. See if you can recruit us some fans out there.

I know you're talking primarily about the pac-10 but to answer this question, the only other conference I can actually stomach is the Big 12. What's funny is that most of the Big12 fans I know agree that the tailgating is better in the SEC. Some will even admit that while they take their football seriously it's not a "religion" like it is in the SEC. I like best a comment from a good friend of mine who said "You Southern boys can flat out COOK - off the field and on the field ". :D
