...with fans. While I don't get upset hearing opinions, some do shock me. So, since we're entering the first week of the season this week I'm wondering what comments have stuck out to you?
Who said what that made you say, "WHAT?"
My first comes from Desmond Howard. This doesn't have anything to do with his Michigan ties. It all revolves around a comment he said concerning the suspension of Fitz.
His analysis on how this will effect what Michigan deals with in this game was "picking up the blitzes."
Which leads me to this question. How often do Bama blitz against mobile quarterbacks? Uhh, never might be accurate, but very seldom is definitely the truth.
Hell, in our last game of the year Upshaw comments to the ESPN crew about containment of Jefferson "we didn't blitz, but used our 'mush rush' to contain their QB."
Here's a case of a commentator seeing pressure and calling it a blitz.
Next up: Jason Whitlock- commentator and writer for Fox Sports.
About 2AM this morning he tweeted, "In about 19 hours we're coming for that ass Saban. Go Big Blue."
I'm guessing he was under some influence since the tweet has been pulled in the last few hours. I say "some influence" because he's making jokes about Eastwood speaking at the RNC with blunt references.
