Smith’s LSU highlight reel game with his one handed Heisman moment catch followed by the 0 TD performance by Jones in the Arkansas game with a PR TD added in for the Slim Reaper all combined to stop the Jones for Heisman train in its tracks. He went from front runner to at best second or third in a little over a week. I think the best player won though I couldn’t help but pull for Jones too.

Man... What a career. Starts with a solid freshman year capped by 2nd & 26, then ends with a damn Heisman trophy. Unbelievable!

I say it every year that some of the most important "additions" to the roster are the guys who stay their 4th season. I knew his coming back was a huge deal, but no one could have imagined he would be this special (the loss of Waddle made him even more important).
