Glad he is coming back. Love how much of a competitor he is and how tough he plays. Might be a little harder for him w/o Jeudy and Tua (and maybe Ruggs) but he is made of the right stuff and will have success.

This is terrific news. To be honest, I think he is our best receiving threat, over even Jeudy. His speed and maneuverability and willingness to go over the middle and take a hit is widely missed. He has a better burst than anyone on the team, possibly outside of Waddle. Our offense will not miss a beat! Roll Tide.

#6 is my favorite receiver of all of them. He catches them all for the most part. He truly has football savvy but his size might prevent him from ever getting into round 1. He will forever be in Bama Lore for that walk-off homerun vs the Fighting Kirby's in 2017......

I feel like JJ and probably Ruggs leaving is all the more reason he will be great next year. Waddle and he are both #1's so they can each keep the D honest for each other.... But clearly they're both going to get more targets this season. Mechie is the wildcard that could cut into the pie, and he will get targets, but those 2 will kill with Mac.

Agreed. Throw in Trey Sanders at running back and I think I have moved on to being excited about the offense next season.

I am just a little surprised by this move but not totally. I honestly thought he would go but I am so thankful he is returning for next season.

My reservations for Sanders is he did not have a year to before he may be thrown into needing to carry more of the load than normal for a first year guy (first year playing). Will be growing pains for sure.

I would expect Brian Robinson and Sanders split time until Sanders gets used to being in the heat of game battle. Smitty being back is as crucial as Moses being back on D. My Hope was one wr, one offensive lineman , and Moses would return and it happened. Leaders on both sides of ball are in place, just need a 3rd wr and two ball hawks at safety.
