He was, from what I recall. AJ McCarron is in Atlanta still, I believe. He had that ACL tear in the pre-season, so not sure where he is at with his rehab.
Last roster I could find did not have either listed. Rosen was under a contract for only last year and is a Restricted Free Agent. McCarron was also only one year and is an Unrestricted Free Agent. THat assumes neither has been re-signed without it being reported.

Of course this all happens in a crappy year for quarterbacks. They should have drafted one last year due to the number of guys, and let him learn for a year under Ryan. Basically like they did with Ridley and Julio.

This is a basketball story but it seems somewhat appropriate here. The writer thinks JD is most likely a one and done … and he thinks it’s the best thing for him even if he drops to the second round. He uses Primo as an example of why JD playing in the G League will be better for his development than another year of college.
