I know the Bama site shows Grant as a sophomore, but didn't he get a medical RS last year, making him a RS freshman this year?

I *think* that the medical redshirt will not go into effect into he uses up all of his eligibility, so after he is a SR, it will kick in and he'll get that extra year. That is the way I understand it anyway, and I could be wrong. I'm easily confused. :lol:
