No major surprises in my opinion. I'm sure Duron will influence the WR placing.

I would be SHOCKED if Cyrus ends up starting at LT as a frosh in the SEC. Big kid or not, thats a lot of pressure. He stays back up this year.

Are you sure you're allowed to have a thread titled depth chart? Saban trolls the boards now, ya know

yeah a little surprised about T-Rich too but I remember last year at one point Julio got injured (nothing serious) on a kick return, might have something to do with it. lets not risk him gettin hurt in a return.

TR's modus operandi on KO's is full speed ahead and run over rather than around a tackler. Maze uses his speed but is adept at avoiding or miniomizing contact on a return. TR's approach obviously has a higher chance of getting hurt.

More so surprised Milliner will be returning, should be interesting. Trent is going to be our main hoss, got to protect em' now.

I expect White to step up for us with Hanks out the first couple of games. I was already pretty high on him before all the hype surrounding him in the practices. We'll need multiple guys to step up to help our young QB, whichever it will be. I'm leaning towards Sims at this point, but that's just my opinion.

Can't wait to see Williams at the DE spot, he'll be a beast when he's moved inside in the nickel packages.

I'd love to see Cyrus get the nod at LT, talk about a ridiculously talented OL that's only going to get better. With him being a true fresh you know there will be weaknesses, but hopefully they'll be far and few in-between. IMO we would be a stronger unit with Barrett at guard.

As thin as we are at running back, we can't risk an injury to Trent returning kicks. I think Saban should put DeAndrew White and Bradley Sylve returning kickoffs. Sylve took one back in the high school all-star game last year. He has 10.2 speed in the 100 meter dash. I would rather not risk injuries to our starters when we have such explosive young talent. This is particularly true when they have a chance to get their feet wet against Kent State.

If you recall, when we went to our rabbits formation it was Chapman instead of Cody. In obvious passing situations, I'd expect Chapman again and see Williams more outside.

Williams may end up being a "gamer." Right now, my money would be on Dial as the one to watch at the DE position. Williams later on in the year.

Coach Saban said in his press conference Monday that Trent is still gonna return some kicks, he just wants to see some other guys back there to see if anyone else can make a contribution there.
