The Georgia Bulldogs football team had some more bad news on the injury front on Monday, as backup offensive lineman Tanner Strickland injured his shoulder during a workout session and will miss the 2009 season.Strickland's injury comes after the Bulldogs lost four starting offensive linemen to injuries throughout the course of the 2008 season. Many Georgia fans are hoping and praying this isn't the beginning of another devastating injury bug.
The Bulldogs will also play the 2009 season without another offensive player after WR Kris Durham shoulder injury, during spring practice.

You had better switch that "W" at OK State to an "L". This time last year, I had Ole Miss to go 9-3. When Hardy went down pre-season, I changed the opening game at Wake to an "L". Wake won, but just barely. Don't believe they would have won if Ole Miss had Hardy. One of the better games I watched last year.

You know when I read this you were the first person I thought about.

Don't think for a moment I didn't consider the Okie State game. His back-up, Ben Harden, is a scout teamer — at least he was last year. I know Harden got a lot of reps during their spring camp and G-day, but that is no measuring stick.

If this injury was on the defensive line I'd be tempted to switch to Okie State. I'm banking my call on that game strictly on UGA's defense.

That said, if the injury was to Prince Miller or Boykin I'd be switching my call as well.

Speaking of defensive backs: I thought this was a pretty solid write up on the cornerbacks for UGA.
