Before Kiffin was hired I made a casual comment about how futile is was to get caught up in rumors, hot boards, etc., when it comes to who Saban is going to hire as an assistant coach. I'm not a fan of guessing games and I've seen so many twists and turns over the years it seems it's just easier to sit back, watch, and wait.

This hire is no different. In fact, it may have more twists and turns than normal.

Consider this...

Saban had interviewed Chris Wilson for the job. Wilson was the target for the DL coaching position at USC when Sark took over the job but he chose to remain at UGA.

So, Sark hires Bo Davis from TX for the USC job. We hire Bo from USC after Rumph goes to TX to take Bo's former job.

Twist and turns? How did I leave shuffle out of the conversation?
