Read an article that said he was working throgh some "personal issues" but is still on the team. Anyone got info on this?

True.

"dealing with" means that its being address. "Personal" means its personal. "issues", in this case implies that it could impact on-the-field performance so its likely good that he is not on-the-field.

All-in-all, its as good as it can be...even without me knowing what someone else's personal issues are...as much as me simply knowing would aid the young man and the team he plays for.
