i just.....don't.....get it.

what makes a young person think they can get away with almost anything? what makes these players think they can get away with possessing/holding/smoking marijuana and not get caught? what makes them think they won't get caught if they give false information (imo, he probably gave a false name so the police wouldn't know it was him)? all they have to do is look back at past players who were caught doing the EXACT SAME FREAKIN' THING.....and JUST NOT DO IT!!!!!

seriously!! how difficult is that?! how difficult is it to not do the same stupid shit that others have done for which they got arrested?!

Dee Hart may be a good running back. hell, he may be a great running back. but because of this.....idiot, plain and simple.

Yep! And you'd also think that with all the new talent coming in, that maybe he could have easily taken a page from Drake's past and not screw up because with these other backs, being in the doghouse isn't exactly the best place to be.

I think pot should be legal, but since it is illegal you should stay the hell away from it. Especially when you are in a position where getting caught with it could ruin you. Damn kid, didn't you see all the talented folks before you that wound up at BK because of things like this?

I'm with everyone else on here, why on Earth would you go out and get in trouble like this? With as tough as it is to make this team, with as competitive as it is to get playing time, why would you ever jeapordize that over pot, or anything else for that matter? The chances of working through the system and continuing to play with the influx of continuous talent, and you want to throw that away, along with an education for some pot. Just stupid and deserves everything he gets. Liked the guy for coming off knee injuries and working hard, but this just wipes all of that hard work out the window for me, because it simply shows how stupid he really is.

Well, I had no clue...

What?! News to me .. It is still being reported as "Alabama's Dee Hart" .. I guess this is news to everybody?

Had it not been for the Athletic Department releasing that statement, I would have taken it more with a grain of salt, since it's been apparently so low key about him not being with the team since the bowl. That was as much news to me as him getting arrested. Even saw somewhere where he supposedly should have been referred to as "Central Florida running back". Who knows? lol

A couple of things...

Appears he will get hit with using counterfeit money too, which is a felony.

Now for a small rant... If you're about to commit a crime, don't do it with drugs on you. And if/when you get caught, don't give a false name. It doesn't work. You don't need a name to go to jail, you do need one to get out.

It was one of those things that was never announced and Saban, surprisingly, was never asked about it. All the attention appeared to be on Kamara, whose situation was somewhat similar. It was rumored that Hart might transfer back to a FL school.
