🏈 Dee got hurt tonite in 7 on 7's...

I just got the text a few minutes before I posted this...I'm supposing tomorrow. But, can't say for sure.

Fowler had a hell of a spring so this isn't going to have a great impact on offense. Just sad to hear...hopefully, it isn't that bad and he can get back before the year is out. But, I have my doubts.

Still holding out hope for em', but we'll be fine with Fowler...no doubt.

Let's not forget, we are talking about a player who was looking at sharing the 3 role in our running attack with Fowler as it was.

My hopes for Dee this year weren't in the backfield, but more on special teams.

It's easy to forget because we haven't had that many teams score against us.

And, he's not been as dramatic as Arenas was the year before. But, IMO, Hart's perfect role this upcoming fall would have been filling Trent's role on kick returns. If you recall, or you don't, Trent had almost 650 return yards off of kick-offs last season. And, that is with only one return in the last four games of our regular season: a 12 yard return vs LSU before he hurt his knee.

Let's wait 'til the MRI results are in...

I don't expect him back if it popped like he said it did. But, stranger things have happened.

Reconstructive surgery has really advanced. DH was back working in the spring following his 2009 injury, and it involved a torn MCL as well as ACL. Still, if it was a torn ACL, not much hope that he sees the field this year.

Dont'a was really at the periphery of what can be tolerated. That was a lot of damage but he still had almost 7 months before he started. He will be a much different player this year.

Based on Dee's supposed injury being non-contact I wouldn't think his MCL is involved but meniscus is still a possibility.

Interesting choice of words.

I saw someone mention that it was a knee to knee injury. I don't know if that's true or not. I've asked the player, via text message, if it was or not...maybe later when I hear considering his class schedule today.

If this does turn out to be somewhat serious and he cant play this year.....Im curious if it will have any effect on Sanders decision to possibly come here ? The injury would put Hart back a year and Sanders would be coming in when Hart returns.....thats IF Sanders does come.

<meta charset="utf-8">Back in the spring, McElwain had put in a wildcat package with Black Sims behind center and Corey Grant wide on one side and Dee Hart wide to the other... I was looking forward to seeing it at some point this fall... now Grant is gone and Hart is on the shelf... Crapola!

I'm hoping this puts and end to the Blake to QB stuff. Leave him at RB and in the occasional WC. But, not under center.
