TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama's 2015 Homecoming football game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, when the Crimson Tide hosts SEC Western Division foe Arkansas at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Further details about Homecoming Weekend activities, including a kickoff time for the game, will be released as they are finalized.

Alabama is 80-13-1 in homecoming games, including an 8-0 record under the direction of head coach Nick Saban. The Tide are currently in the midst of a 13-game winning streak in Alabama homecoming games.

I understand that.

I get both sides of the non-conference arguments. Mentioning Homecoming, along with a DII opponent, tends to make people think that's exactly what's transpired.

In a sense, it's along the same lines of people saying J. Taylor was expelled. Now some believe that just because he's no longer a student.

BTW, I think you mentioned you got married at Boone Hall.

I'm hitting that place for an hour or so next weekend...all about homemade Daiquiri's and some homemade cheese cake: Strawberry festival. If it's anything like last years crop I'll have frozen...geez, six, seven months.

Yeah, the Strawberry Jam or whatever they used to call it is pretty cool, we enjoyed it the time we went years ago. You need to send me over some of that homemade cheesecake now.
