🏈 DC @ Arkansas' New Deal

A little more than that from my perspective, Mike.

One, the hiring of Shannon down at Florida. He, and Smith, were Co-DC's last season. You can't quite call it a promotion, but definitely could say he's been given the reigns.

Two, the average pay of a defensive coordinator in the SEC is now at roughly 1 million. A move that allows Arkansas to "keep up with the Joneses" fits as well.

(BTW, speaking of DC pay: Here we have Muschamp making around 1.7 per year. Miss State gets Diaz to return for a three year deal with 1.8. That's NOT keeping up with ANYONE.)

Texas A&M overpaying for everything these days. Chavis at $1.67m is crazy and he pays zero state income tax in Texas. So he gets an extra $80k a year in income tax savings by living in Texas as Louisiana is 6%.

The comments in that ESPN article make me laugh. One season and the Ohio fans are already talking trash.

Everything is correct. Even basketball. Rest assured, Rick Stansbury is paid more than your normal assistant basketball coach.
