Talk about building within the trenches. Alabama has the #1 O-lineman recruits and now has Hand on the d-line. Good lord, how scary can this recruiting class be if Humphrey gets here?

To add to that, Humphrey has been visiting FSU some. Pruit is trying his best to steal him away.

Funny how one of those UM whiners bashed Bama on academics, yet Hand mentions it as one of his selling points. It sometimes gets under my skin the perception out there that Alabama doesn't have good academics. We all know it's an excellent school. When I was reading through the media guide and I read about all the academic accolades, I was really blown away. Ah well, whatever... They can whine all they want.

Huge pickup. I was pretty surprised as well. I knew he was announcing, but I figured he'd be going to Michigan so I didn't even really pay attention.

Let's say Hand gets a career-ending injury (I hope not!!). UA now offers engineer students a program called STEM, which allows them to get their MBA a year after they graduate. Hell of a program! And if graduating in five years with both an engineering degree and a MBA doesn't make you marketable, then I don't know what does.
